We share a piece of news that makes us especially excited: last December I had the privilege of attending and participating as a speaker at the event“I Professional Meeting of Parental Coordinators: Present and Future of the Profession“, held in Madrid.
Experts and people interested in parental coordination met in the capital to learn from each other and share experiences.
In total, more than 60 people came from different parts of Spain such as Andalusia, Catalonia, Canary Islands or Aragon.
We share with you a small chronicle of the event, from the hand of Diario de Mediación. The meeting began with the presentation of the event by the director of the School of Mediation, María Herrero Villanueva.
She was joined by the academic coordinators of the Expert in Parental Coordinator Santiago Madrid Liras, Carmen Capilla Rodríguez and Álvaro Rubio Álvarez.
In addition, these professionals also participated later in the different tables organized.
After the introduction, the day was divided into three modules or round tables.
- Lessons learned and challenges in four pilot experiences of Parentality Coordination.
- The legal and legislative aspects of Parental Coordination.
Relevant jurisprudence.
Parentality Plan - Working Table: Professional challenges and competencies of the professional profile of the Parentality Coordinator
These three modules were led by experts in parental coordination who delved into the subject.
A total of eleven speakers, including Anna Vall, lawyer and mediator; also, María Jesús Pérez, psychologist, mediator and parental coordinator; Elvira Rodríguez, lawyer, mediator and expert in family law; as well as, Félix Arias, psychologist, mediator and parental coordinator.
